I am very glad I did not let the reviews stop me from trying this place out. I am trying to find help for my 12 year old son and it has been very difficult to find someone that treats children and takes our insurance. The staff was extremely helpful and personable.

The process works by you first showing up as a walk-in by 8 am for an intake appointment with a counselor. Then, within 5 days I believe, you must come back for your appointment with the doctor. Due to scheduling conflicts with my job, I was unable to make it during that time frame so they were going to set up two appointments, one to see the nurse in that time frame to satisfy insurance mandates, then the other for the doctor. When I asked if there were any other options as that would have me missing too many days from work, the front desk said I could wait for the nurse and see her that day before I left. I agreed to this thinking that I would be there for a long time waiting for the nurse. The nurse called us back within 15 minutes. While we were speaking to her, the front desk called back and said the doctor could actually see us now. By a stroke of luck, we were actually able to get the help we needed all within one day.

I'm confused by the complaints that the staff is rude. I was in that office for nearly 4 hours and never once heard a staff member be rude to anyone. The only person I heard using anything other than a pleasant tone was a patient. Even then, the lady working in the front office kept a cheerful demeanor through the entire interaction.
